MDH: 25 newly-reported COVID-19 deaths, 10,454 newly-reported cases
Monday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported*:
- 25 newly-reported deaths from COVID-19**
- 10,454 newly-reported positive COVID-19 tests***
*Data posted on Mondays represents data as of 4 a.m. on Fridays.
**MDH reported one death was from April and the rest were from October.
***According to MDH, as of Monday, newly-reported cases may include reinfections (a confirmed or probable case from a person that previously had COVID-19 at least 90 days prior.)
Additionally, MDH said:
- 6.93 million COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered
- 3.3 million people have completed the vaccine series
- 74.8% of those 16 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine

Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported, as of Monday, 86 counties in Minnesota remained at a high level of COVID-19 community transmission. One county is considered at a moderate spread.
