MDH: 100 newly-reported COVID-19 deaths, 3,580 newly-reported cases

Wednesday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported:

• 100 newly-reported deaths from COVID-19*
• 3,580 newly-reported positive COVID-19 tests

*MDH did not process deaths for Nov. 25 and 26 and that death data reporting resumed Wednesday.

Additionally, MDH said:

• 7.86 million COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered.
• 3.37 million people have completed the vaccine series.
• 70.1% of those 5 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported, as of Wednesday all 87 counties in Minnesota remained at a high level of COVID-19 community transmission.

According to the CDC, counties in red have a high level of community transmission, in orange have a substantial level, in yellow have a moderate level and in blue have a low level.
