MDH: 0 newly-reported COVID-19 deaths, 5,266 newly-reported cases
Monday, the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) reported*:
- 0 new deaths from COVID-19**
- 5,266 newly-reported positive COVID-19 tests
*Data posted on Mondays represents data as of 4 a.m. on Fridays.
**MDH reported that there were zero newly-reported deaths Monday because deaths were not processed last Thursday for the Veterans Day holiday. Details of newly-reported deaths will resume Tuesday.
Additionally, MDH said:
- 7.30 million COVID-19 vaccinations have been administered
- 3.31 million people have completed the vaccine series
- 67.7% of those 5 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine

Meanwhile, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported, as of Monday, 86 counties in Minnesota remained at a high level of COVID-19 community transmission. One county — Lake of the Woods — is considered at a substantial spread.
