Man's body recovered from Washington County lake after reported water emergency

Authorities have recovered a man's body from a Washington County lake after a water emergency was reported Sunday.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, a missing man's body was recovered from Forest Lake Wednesday.

It comes after a caller reported a man in the water on Forest Lake at about 4:40 p.m. Sunday.

Crews search for man on Washington County lake

Fire rescue teams, along with the Washington County Dive Team, responded to the scene and searched the lake until midnight. Crews then resumed their search Monday.

No other details were immediately available.

The victim's identity will be released at a later time by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office, the sheriff's office said.
