Man suffers significant injuries in pedestrian crash with light rail train in Minneapolis

A man was taken to Hennepin Healthcare with significant injuries after being hit by a light rail train at the Cedar-Riverside stop Tuesday afternoon, according to Metro Transit.
The collision happened just before 4 p.m on the Blue line. It’s unknown what caused the crash at this time.
Metro Transit says that trains are running behind due to the incident. Customers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes.
