Police say two people are recovering from injuries following two shootings Tuesday night, including one man who was shot while driving on Interstate 94.
According to Minneapolis police, officers were first called to the intersection of Lowry and James avenues at 9:20 p.m., saying a man with a gunshot wound flagged them down.
Officials said the male who flagged them down was taken to an area hospital for a non-life-threatening wound, and added he didn’t provide many details about what happened.
A description of the shooter wasn’t given.
Meanwhile, officers were also called to a report of a shooting on westbound I-94 at 9:21 p.m.
Minneapolis police say the man was shot while driving, and two other people were in the vehicle. They were not injured.
The driver, whose name and age have not been provided, was taken to an area hospital and was listed as being in critical condition.
Officials initially said the suspect’s vehicle was described as a white SUV, however, that description was later updated to a white sedan.
In addition, police say the shooting may have followed a confrontation that happened near the downtown area of Washington Avenue and I-94.
