Man shot, killed at Brooklyn Center gas station

Police say a man died after he was shot Wednesday morning at a gas station in Brooklyn Center.

According to the Brooklyn Center Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting around 11:18 a.m. near 69th Avenue and Brooklyn Boulevard.

Police found a man who had been shot multiple times and attempted life-saving measures. However, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The shooting is not believed to be random, police said.

The victim will be identified in the coming days.
