Man shot in Mounds Park neighborhood, 1 arrested

Police say a man is in critical but stable condition after being shot Monday night in St. Paul’s Mounds Park neighborhood.
According to St. Paul police, officers were called to the 1000 block of Mounds Boulevard for a report of a shooting at 8:40 p.m.
When officers arrived, they say they found a 36-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound on both of his legs.
The man was then taken to an area hospital with what was listed as life-threatening injuries.
Shortly before midnight, police say a vehicle that is believed to be part of the incident was found by officers.
In addition, police say an 18-year-old St. Paul man was found and arrested. Formal charges are still pending.
