Man injured in North End neighborhood shooting, no one in custody

UPDATE 11:20 a.m. – St. Paul police say a man is in critical but stable condition after being shot Thursday night in the city’s North End neighborhood.
According to police, officers were called to the intersection of Milford and Albermarle streets at 9:43 p.m. for a report of an aggravated assault, and that a man who had been shot was in the street.
Responding officers found a 41-year-old man who had been shot, and began treating his injuries. He was then taken to Regions Hospital.
St. Paul police say bullet casings were found at the scene.
As of this update, no one has been arrested for the shooting.
The shooting is still being investigated, and information about any potential suspects hasn’t been released.

INITIAL REPORT 10:50 a.m. – St. Paul police say one man was injured during a shooting Thursday in the city’s North End neighborhood.
According to police, officers were called to an area near Milford and Albemarle streets at around 9:40 p.m. There, police found a 41-year-old man who had been shot.
He was the only person injured during the shooting, police add.
St. Paul police were looking into the man’s condition late Friday morning.
Additional details are expected to be released later in the day.
