Man in critical condition after shooting at memorial site in north Minneapolis

A man is in critical condition after he was shot in the area where a memorial site sits for 12-year-old London Bean, who was shot and killed on Sept. 8.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers were sent to the 800 block of Aldrich Avenue on the report of a shooting on Saturday at about 10:54 p.m.

Police arrived and found a man who was lying in the grass with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported by EMS to the Hennepin County Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition as of Tuesday.

Police are investigating.
