Man dies from injuries suffered in June fire in Minneapolis
The Minneapolis Fire Department said Friday that one of two men with serious injuries from a fire in Minneapolis on June 10 has died.
According to MFD, when firefighters responded to a fire at 2:22 p.m. June 10 along Emerson Avenue North, they found heavy smoke inside and outside the two-story residential home.
Crews didn’t find any people inside the home, but found and tended to two men in the alley with multiple burns and smoke inhalation. Both men were taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the fire was determined to be incendiary.
MFD did not provide an update on the condition of the other man.
This was the sixth fire death in Minneapolis this year.
