Man dies after single-vehicle crash in Minneapolis
A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Minneapolis early Thursday morning.
According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers responded just after midnight to the intersection of 27th and Lyndale avenues.
Upon arrival, officers learned the vehicle had been traveling at a high rate of speed, spun out and left the road, flipped and then struck a tree.
Police said the male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hennepin County medical examiner is expected to release the driver’s identity as well as the official cause and nature of death.
The crash remains under investigation.
