Shoppers will be scouring the web for good deals during Cyber Monday.
Americans are expected to spend as much as $11.3 billion Monday alone, according to Adobe Analytics.
That means it will be a busy day for places like Amazon’s delivery station in Maple Grove.
"This is a delivery station, so this is what we call our last mile," spokesperson Scott Seroka said. "This is the last touch our associates have with the packages before they go into the vans and on the doorsteps of viewers. Our 100 workers are taking care of that last mile."
Meanwhile, Black Friday online sales hit $8.9 billion, down slightly from $9 billion last year.
Doorbuster scenes of past Black Fridays have been replaced with an earlier, gradual and digital set of holiday discounts.
New data from Sensormatic Solutions shows that Black Friday sales were down both in store and online compared to pre-pandemic levels, with in-store foot traffic reduced 28% compared to 2019.
"Because of concerns about health hazards generated by crowds and just because of supply chain issues that are ongoing this year, retailers were basically trying to spread out holiday sales across the entire autumn, so they were really encouraging people to start buying," Áine Cain, senior retail reporter of Insider, told ABC News. "This may be sort of a last chance for some people to get exactly what they want and when they want it."
