Le Sueur woman celebrates 106th birthday

This Thanksgiving marks a major milestone for one Le Sueur woman.

Betty Majusiak celebrated her 106th birthday.

Born in 1916, Majusiak grew up near Le Center and was married for 63 years.

A party was held in her honor at Ridgeview Le Sueur Nursing and Rehab Center.

“I think you’ve got to live one day at a time,” Majusiak said. “Keep your life straight because you never know when it’s going to go crooked.”

Majusiak has six children, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
