Hy-Vee to close Eagan fulfillment center, over 300 employees to lose jobs

More than 300 people will be out of jobs when Hy-Vee closes a fulfillment center in Eagan, according to a notice from the company to Minnesota's jobs department.

According to the notice, the fulfillment center will permanently close May 6 as Hy-Vee transfers operations to its retail stores.

Up to 327 employees will lose their jobs, the notice states, but Hy-Vee said it will talk to some about employment elsewhere in the company.

KSTP reached out to the company but has not yet heard back.
