Hudson police seek possible video of fatal stabbing

Police in Hudson are asking the public for any video they may have of a fatal stabbing that occurred in the city Saturday.

Authorities are asking anyone who may have captured the altercation leading up to the stabbing on video to come forward.

The incident left 26-year-old Cain Solheim dead. Authorities have charged 24-year-old William Davidson Junior with first-degree intentional homicide, attempted homicide, and use of a dangerous weapon in connection to the incident.

Police responded to a reported stabbing just after 1 a.m. Sunday and found three people suffering from stab wounds in different locations. All three were taken to a hospital and one — later identified as Solheim — died from his injuries.

According to a criminal complaint, victims told investigators that an altercation had broken out after they left Dick’s Bar in Hudson. During the altercation, Solheim and the other two victims were stabbed.
