Highway 212 closure in Eden Prairie continues

Highway 212 in Eden Prairie is not reopening Thursday as previously planned.
KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said the highway remains closed in both directions between Highway 62 and Shady Oak Road.
Plans are now set for the highway to reopen by 3 p.m. Friday.
The highway was shut down for crews to set bridge beams over the highway.
The work is part of the Southwest Light Rail Transit project.
The detour is Highway 62 and Interstate 494, Smith said.
