Two new drive-thru clinics operated by HealthPartners opened Monday. The test is designed to be quick and easy so that passengers never have to get out of their cars.

"I called my doctor at 9:00 a.m. this morning and got an appointment at 12:30 p.m., super easy," said patient David Shannon.

The testing is done by appointment so there are no crowds and there is minimal wait time. Patients aren't being billed for the testing.

HealthPartners will now be able to test up to 2,000 patients a day throughout the system. Results take up to five days.

Jennifer Linquist, who pulled up to the new White Bear Lake site Monday, said she was coming for a test but also for peace of mind.

"We've got sick parents we want to keep safe.  So we want to find out how we can stay safe and keep them healthy as well," she said.
