Volunteers armed with winter gear handed out scarves Sunday across the Twin Cities. The group is led by one Golden Valley woman who calls it "scarf bombing."
Michelle Christensen started an organization called One Good Deed to help the homeless.
"They are very, very thankful and it really does make it all worthwhile," Christensen said.
The group stopped by Loring Park in Minneapolis and Kellogg Park in Saint Paul.
"I often hear that people want to be kind they just don’t know where to place their kindness and then something like this comes up and they are that’s exactly what I need to do," Christensen said.
This is the third straight year the group has helped the homeless in the Twin Cities.
