Former Atlanta officer charged in death of Rayshard Brooks to appear in court

Former Atlanta police officer Garrett Rolfe, charged with the murder of Rayshard Brooks, is expected to be in court later Friday.
Rolfe, 27, faces 11 charges, including murder, for shooting and killing Brooks in a Wendy's parking lot. Rolfe is being held without bail.
His former partner, 26-year-old Devin Brosnan, is accused of aggravated assault. Brosnan is now speaking out on what he says happened that night.

The shooting sparked anger for days in Atlanta.
The Fulton County District Attorney said he will not seek the death penalty against Rolfe in this case. As for whether Rolfe's former partner will testify, the district attorney said he expects Brosnan "to follow through with what he has already promised."
