Fatal weekend bar shooting victim identified

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man killed inside a Northeast Minneapolis bar over the weekend.
The report identifies the shooting victim as 37-year-old Kenneth Todd Rodriguez, of Minneapolis.
The medical examiner’s office lists a gunshot wound to the chest as Rodriguez’s official cause of death.
As previously reported, officers went to Spring Street Tavern at 355 Monroe St. NE late Saturday night for a report of shots fired inside the business.
Responders found Rodriguez with critical injuries at the scene; he died at the scene. Police then arrested a suspect described as a man in his 40s who Rodriguez knew.
