Fatal crash temporarily closes portion of Highway 169 in Mankato

Lanes have reopened after a fatal crash on Highway 169 in Mankato closed a portion of the roadway Tuesday afternoon.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened in the southbound lanes at Riverfront Drive shortly before noon.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation said the portion of Highway 169 between Highway 14 and 207th Military Road was closed, and traffic was being detoured from the area. The area reopened at about 3:40 p.m.
The crash is under investigation.
