Faribault Foods recalls some Progresso chicken noodle soup due to ‘undeclared allergens’

Faribault Foods Inc. has recalled over 15,000 pounds of soup due to "misbranding and undeclared allergens," according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

According to the USDA, the company is recalling 14-ounce cans of Progresso Organic Chicken Noodle Soup with a best by date of May 26, 2022, printed on the bottom of the can. The product also has the establishment number EST18826A.

The items were shipped nationwide.

According to the USDA, the soup contains milk, soy, beef and pork, which were not on the product label.

People who have purchased the soup are asked not to consume it and to return it to where it was purchased or throw it away.
