Edina Police: Man shot multiple times, investigation underway
Officers were called to the intersection of France Ave. and 65 Street Monday night to help a gunshot victim.[KSTP]
Edina police say a man is recovering from multiple gunshot wounds.
According to police, officers were called to the area of France Avenue and 65th Street shortly before 9 p.m. Monday to help a gunshot victim.
Police say the man was driving a vehicle and stopped to ask EMS workers for help. No one else was inside the vehicle at the time.
The man, only identified as a 23-year-old, is being treated at Hennepin County Medical Center. His condition has not been released as of this time.
Officials say while the man isn’t cooperating and wouldn’t tell them specifically where the shooting happened, he did say the shooting didn’t happen in Edina.
An investigation is underway.
