Edina is launching a new program to help small businesses hit hard by the pandemic.
The Edina Technical Assistance Program was created to aid businesses that don’t have large marketing budgets or staff resources.
The program will support 10 to 15 small businesses with services valued at about $10,000 each.
Edina National Karate is considering applying for the program.
"I think that’s a great program," Joe Huber, with Edina National Karate, said. "I think anybody in this situation would be very grateful for $10,000."
Small businesses have until Sunday, Jan. 16, to apply for the program.
The city of Edina will give out the money over the next few months.
