The protest did cause the closure of I-94 between I-35W and Highway 280 until 1:23 a.m. Wednesday morning.
People in the group appeared to be holding signs protesting President Donald Trump and his administration but all of their reasons for protesting weren’t immediately clear.
According to the State Patrol, bikes that were taken during the incident are being held at its West Metro District Office. Anyone looking to retrieve a bike is asked to have identification, their citation and a description of the bicycle.
