Minneapolis police investigating overnight shooting

New details have been released regarding an overnight incident in downtown Minneapolis.
According to Minneapolis Police, officers were called to a report of a shooting around 1:40 a.m. on the 400 block of Hennepin Avenue.
When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound, and provided aid until he was taken to an area hospital.
Officials say the man was in critical condition.
As of this time, police say a verbal altercation between two men led to gunfire.
The suspect left the scene, and may have been traveling in a black SUV.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
No other details were immediately available.
