Dog surrendered, euthanized after biting incident in Minneapolis

A dog belonging to a Minneapolis family had to be surrendered and euthanized following a biting incident in Minneapolis, according to city officials. 

The city official said Minneapolis Animal Care and Control were called Tuesday evening on the report of an animal-to-human bite. 

Authorities learned the animal involved was a family dog, which was later euthanized. 

Minneapolis Animal Care and Control is not releasing further information about the incident at this time.
