CVS to offer COVID-19 vaccines at Minnesota locations starting Sunday
CVS Health will join the list of pharmacies administering COVID-19 vaccines in Minnesota beginning Sunday.
CVS said Thursday that select locations, including ones in Hennepin, St. Louis and Olmsted counties, will join the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program. CVS joins Hy-Vee, Walmart and Walgreens as Minnesota participants in the federal program.
Appointments for the locations will open for booking on Saturday as stores receive shipments of vaccine, CVS said.
Anyone who meets Minnesota’s vaccination guidelines, as well as K-12 teachers and staff and child care workers will be able to be vaccinated at the locations.
Patients must register online or through the CVS Pharmacy app before showing up to receive an appointment as walk-ins won’t be allowed. Those without online access can call CVS Customer Support at 800-746-7287.
