Crews search for 12-year-old boy who entered Mississippi River in St. Paul

A search for a 12-year-old boy who entered the Mississippi River in St. Paul continued Tuesday.

According to the St. Paul Fire Department, a crew responded to Hidden Falls Regional Park around 7 p.m. Monday.

Search efforts were turned over to Ramsey County officials at about 10:30 p.m.

Authorities then left around midnight.

Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office confirmed with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS they were back out with recovery efforts on Tuesday at Hidden Falls Regional Park along the Mississippi River.

Family members identify the boy as Ashok Pradhan of Saint Paul.

"Up till now we only say, ‘Ashok, come back,’" Arjun Pradhan, the victim’s brother said. "I want to see you. I want to hug you and I want to love you."
