Wednesday morning, crews appeared to be clearing out an area in which protesters have continually gathered in recent weeks.
Crews were in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis.
Seven Points Uptown stated that they have removed the community garden from the area.
"We previously committed to work to allow a community garden as long as it remained a safe and peaceful gathering space," the post on Facebook reads, in part. "Unfortunately, that has not happened. The continued destruction of property, violent acts, arson, noise ordinance violations, and blocking access to Uptown residents and businesses created an unsustainable and unhealthy situation."
Uptown has seen several instances of unrest since early June, when Winston Smith was fatally shot by deputies with a U.S. Marshals-led task force.
