COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 52 new deaths, record-high 5,771 new cases

Tuesday, Wisconsin health officials announced 52 new deaths related to COVID-19, moving the state’s total to 2,102 deaths since the pandemic began.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services also reported 247 new hospitalizations, moving the total number of hospitalizations during the pandemic to 11,844. 5% of those that have tested positive for COVID-19 in Wisconsin have been hospitalized.

A total of 238,067 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Wisconsin, with 5,771 new cases reported Tuesday.
