COVID-19 in Wisconsin: 12,885 cases, 467 total deaths

Wisconsin health officials reported 198 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, bringing the state's total to 12,885 cases.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) also reported eight new COVID-19 deaths, increasing the state's total to 467.

The DHS said, as of Tuesday, 148,273 people have tested negative.

Of all cases in Wisconsin, 2,110 have required hospitalization, which is 16%. Meanwhile, 7,371 people are recovering and are no longer in isolation, which accounts for 57% of all cases.

Milwaukee County continues to be hit hardest by COVID-19 in Wisconsin, accounting for 5,076 cases and 260 deaths, as of Tuesday.
