Cottage Grove crash involving 2 vehicles kills Woodbury woman

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating after a deadly crash Thursday night in the southeast metro.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Highway 61 and 120th Street South, in the south side of Cottage Grove.
Officials say a Chrysler PT Cruiser was turning onto Highway 61 when the vehicle was hit by a Saturn Vue.
The state patrol reports 51-year-old Jessica Jackson, of Woodbury, who was driving the Chrysler PT Cruiser, was killed.
The 19-year-old Saturn Vue driver was hurt but is expected to survive. The teen, from Eagan, was taken to a nearby hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
