Cold snap continues Monday with subzero temps
After temperatures remained below zero all day Sunday in the Twin Cities, there could be a small sign of warming up on Monday.
According to KSTP Meteorologist Jonathan Yuhas, the high temperature is projected to be zero degrees on Monday — and we’ll get up to the single digits on Tuesday. Small steps.
But that brutal wind chill will still play a factor. The wind will be lighter on Monday, but wind chills will range from 10 to 25 degrees below zero, Yuhas said.
The pattern of high temperatures in the single digits and lows in the negatives — along with those bitter wind chills — will stick around through the end of the week.
Some flurries and light snow are possible most days this week as well, with accumulation possible Thursday through Saturday.
