Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store to close in St. Paul

A toy store that’s been bringing smiles to Minnesotans of all ages will soon close its doors for good.

Choo Choo Bob’s Train Store in St. Paul is going out of business.

The store opened on Marshall Avenue in 2005.

Owner Jennifer Southerling said the pandemic is forcing her to close.

"It felt like a really good wholesome brand," Southerling said. "We were keeping it that way but making it profitable. Unfortunately, it was just not the best timing."

A closing sale is scheduled at the store this Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
