Chisago County Sheriff’s Office: Man stabbed parents, both suffer critical injuries

Two people were injured after a stabbing incident in Chisago County Monday evening.
The Chisago County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called just after 6 p.m. on the report of a stabbing.
The sheriff’s office said the caller told the deputies he and his wife were stabbed by their adult son.
When first responder arrived, they found the two victims who suffered "critical injuries." Both were transported to hospitals.
Authorities were able to locate the suspect, identified as 26-year-old Tyler Hiland, and arrested him. He is being held at the Chisago County Jail, awaiting charges of first-degree assault.
An investigation remains ongoing.
