An entire week of below-average temperatures is expected, according to KSTP Chief Meteorologist Dave Dahl.
Dahl said a jet stream is sagging over the northern part of the country, which will drop temperatures in Minnesota to the high 50s. That is about 10 degrees below the seasonal average high.

Some scattered showers are expected Monday night and into Tuesday. Rainfall amounts should remain light around the state.
Slightly warmer weather will return over the weekend, with temperatures reaching the 60s.
Come next week, Dahl says the Twin Cities could see its first 80-degree day of the season.
