With so many people packing parks and trails during the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing is getting more difficult.

Now some are turning to a new spot to find fresh air and exercise.

Cemeteries across the country are becoming popular destinations during the "stay at home" order.

Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis has put up signs welcoming walkers. Many enjoy the wide roads in cemeteries, and the lack of traffic allows them to pass people without getting to close.

"Too many people at the lakes," walker Ann Peters said. "Even after now that I've been here and I've seen how lovely it is to walk here,  why not keep doing it?"

Some say they will go back to walking at a cemetery even after the stay at home order is lifted.
