Brooklyn Center, Champlin declare curfews Thursday night

Amid ongoing protests following the death of Daunte Wright, Brooklyn Center and Champlin have declared curfews.
Brooklyn Center’s curfew will start at 10 p.m. Thursday and will last until 6 a.m. Friday.
Champlin’s curfew will go into effect at 9 p.m. Thursday and last until 5 a.m. Friday.
Exemptions include traveling to medical appointments or work, law enforcement and emergency personnel, and anyone fleeing dangerous situations.
Minnesota Operation Safety Net announced 22 arrests in Brooklyn Center Wednesday night: 18 for probable cause riot, three for curfew violations and one for failure to obey a lawful order.
