Police believe a body found in a road in St. Paul was the victim of a fatal hit-and-run.
According to the St. Paul Police Department, police are responding to an apparent fatal hit-and-run near the intersection of McKnight Road N. and Margaret Street in St. Paul.
A passerby found the body of a man lying in the southbound lane of McKnight Road Friday night.
Evidence at the scene seems to indicate that the victim was a pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle.
The southbound lanes of McKnight Road will be closed for an unknown period of time as members of the Forensic Services Unit collect evidence to determine what hapened.
