Body found near Hwy 169, I-494 interchange

Authorities say a body was found Friday afternoon near the Highway 169/Interstate 494 interchange.

Bloomington Police said a citizen first reported seeing the body in the 7800 block of Washington Avenue at about 1 p.m. and notified Eden Praire police.

Eden Prairie officers arrived and found the body in Bloomington city limits, just outside of Eden Prairie and Edina.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to determine the victim’s identity as well as cause and manner of death. That information will be released at a later time.

No other details were immediately available.
