Body found in ditch in Stearns County, no foul play suspected

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death after deputies found a body Monday.

According to the sheriff’s office, at 3:45 p.m., deputies responded to County Road 5 and 65th Avenue in Brockway Township after a jogger reported finding a body in the ditch.

Once deputies arrived, they located the body. The sheriff’s office said no foul play was suspected and officials do not believe any criminal activity is associated with the death.

The body was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
