Bloomington man killed in overnight Minneapolis crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Bloomington man is dead after a crash Thursday morning on Highway 62 in Minneapolis.

According to the agency’s incident report, an eastbound Jeep Wrangler driven by 39-year-old Sean Phillip Stout drifted off the road and hit a bridge as it approached 34th Avenue shortly after 1:45 a.m.

The report says roads were covered in snow and ice at the time of the crash. Authorities say that Stout had been drinking before the crash.

Authorities say Stout died at the scene.
