Bismarck-based photographer that abruptly closed to work with couples, subcontractors

A Bismarck, North Dakota-based photography and videography company that abruptly closed last week, leaving many couples without their wedding pictures, has announced a new plan to help its customers.

Glasser Images and its attorney, Tim O’Keeffe, said Tuesday that they will work to make arrangements with subcontractors to provide the electronic data, files and video to outside photographers and videographers who can complete the work and get wedding couples their memories.

The company also said it won’t have any copyright issues with subcontractors.

For those who’ve reserved dates with Glasser Images in the future, the business said those couples can work with the subcontractors or other photographers directly to make arrangements for their dates.

O’Keeffe also urged former Glasser employees to provide their information to the North Dakota Department of Labor and contact his office regarding retrieval of property from the office.

The North Dakota Attorney General’s Office said it had received 173 complaints regarding Glasser Images as of Friday afternoon.

The Minnesota Attorney General’s Office also said it’d received a growing number of complaints since Friday and didn’t rule out possible action against the company.
