Big Ten releases modified 2021 football schedule; Gophers to host Badgers in regular-season finale

Friday, the Big Ten Conference released its modified 2021 football schedule.

The University of Minnesota Gophers will still play the same 12 opponents. However, dates were shifted around.

Minnesota still opens the season at TCF Bank Stadium against Ohio State on Sept. 2, but the dates of the team’s games against Nebraska, Maryland, Northwestern and Wisconsin were all shuffled.

The biggest change for the Gophers is the team will now host Wisconsin in the final game of the regular season on Nov. 27.
