Authorities investigating shooting in Brooklyn Center

Authorities in Brooklyn Center are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday evening that left one person injured.
The Brooklyn Center Police Department said, at about 11:15 p.m., officers responded to the report of a shooting outside a Speedway located on the 1900 block of 57th Avenue North.
When officers arrived, they located a woman who suffered a gunshot wound that was not considered life-threatening.
Officers were able to identify a suspect and take that person into custody Tuesday morning.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
