Authorities investigating 2 deaths in Rockford, suspect it to be a murder-suicide

The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a possible murder-suicide that happened Friday night in Rockford.

According to the sheriff’s office, at around 8:30 p.m., Wright County deputies responded to a residence located on the 4000 block of Woodhill Court after neighbors reported seeing an unoccupied vehicle running in the driveway for over an hour.

Responding law enforcement found a woman and man inside the residence, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
