Authorities ask for help identifying suspects in Edina Cub Foods robbery; reward offered

Authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying the people responsible for a robbery at an Edina Cub Foods.

City of Edina officials said two people went into the store at about 4:30 a.m. on March 6. After approaching the cashier to purchase items, the two weren't able to pay, grabbed the items and then ran.

The city said an employee who tried to stop them was struck in the face. The suspects then left in a blue, four-door sedan.

The suspects are both described as being about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and between 160 and 170 pounds.

The Edina Crime Prevention Fund is offering $1,000 for any information leading to the arrests of the suspects.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Edina police at 952-826-1610.
