ATF offering $5K reward for identifying Brooklyn Park arson suspects
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for information that can help authorities identify two people who were seen setting fires in multiple businesses inside a Brooklyn Park strip mall in April.
On April 19, intentionally set fires damaged De Armour Nails, Kelly’s Diamond Realty and Top 2 Bottom Fashions, all in the K&J Shopping Center at the intersection of Brookdale Drive North and Xerxes Avenue North.
Surveillance footage shows two people pouring a suspected flammable liquid throughout the businesses before lighting the accelerant on fire. A fireball erupted, causing heavy damages.
